ETUDE COLOR MY BROWS (browgel)

Hello! I just want to share my newly discovered product from Etude House , obviously my first EYEBROW GEL.  

I got this for a couple of days. My mom is selling it on her online shop, she asks me to do this favor & since I love makeup, I do this for her so please......

So here it is,

My first impression of this little guy....

 It helps me achieve fuller looking brows. I have a natural black thick brow when its not groomed/trimmed; but with the help of this, it gives my brows enough color and a subtle shape. Its basically a brow gel, not a hair dye. It works well with powder brows & soft eyebrow pencil or you can also use it alone.

I got shade #1 Rich Brown (The color of the tube matches the color of the product with tiny shimmers. However, the shimmers are not noticeable once applied. This shade is best for people with brown to dark brown and black hair.) In this range there are 5 shades, & I think natural brown suit me, ima try it soon :)

Every makeup addict knows that you can also use a soft matte light/brown eye shadow if you do not have eyebrow powder/shader.

So anyway, how i do my eyebrow?

 You can call me a late bloomer in the eyebrows department, because I only started to pay serious attention to my brows this year. And this step-by-step on how I do my brows and with the help of my favorite brow product and my bff helped me realize that well-groomed brows do make a huge difference! :)

Ok, Let's start !

 JUST GROOMED MY BROWS! JUST EXCUSE MY BARE SCARY EYEBROW :b

(OUTLINING) 

DETERMINE WHAT SHAPE OF EYEBROW YOU WANT,

 DRAW A THIN LINE ON TOP & BOTTOM USING A SOFT EYEBROW PENCIL.

 SORRY , IM NOT GOOD WITH THIS. :b (this is the hardest part that i need to improve more & more & more . more practice! :))

(SHADING)

  GET AN EYEBROW POWDER TO FILL THE GAPS ON YOUR BROWS 

SINCE ITS MORE NATURAL LOOKING THAN USING A PENCIL. 
USING SPOOLIE/EYEBROW BRUSH, REMOVE EXCESS PRODUCTS & ERASE HARSH LINES

  (COLORING)

 FILL IN YOUR BROWS WITH COLOR MY BROWS 
(obviously, i'm not good on applying browgel, its my first time anyway)

 (CONCEALING/CLEANING)

CLEAN TOP & BOTTOM WITH CONCEALER; 
BLEND IT OUT. THIS IS THE KEY TO A BEAUTIFUL EYEBROWS, 
(this is my fav. part of doing my eyebrows..Do not skip this, it’s definitely a must! 
It will make your eyebrows cleaner and more defined.)

AND THAT’S IT. TA-DA! SAY HELLO TO PERFECT BROWS THAT’S STAYS IN PLACE!

Eyebrow pencil
in2it brow powder
etude browset/gel in Rich brown

WHAT I LIKE?

·Gives fuller looking brows

· No scent

· Glides on smooth

· Dries quickly

· has a matte finish

· Staying power (amazingly last up at end of the day)

· Buildable & definitely Affordable! ♥

WHAT I DON'T LIKE?

 · Hard to apply

Before, I don’t mind having an unruly eyebrow. I just draw a line and that’s it.

I envy every girl with a perfect brow that deep inside me (I wish I can do it as perfect as them) Y__Y

But when I got this, I included this on my daily makeup routine & WOW, I can really do it! I’m so happy when my friends compliment me on how I do my eyebrows & matches my makeup! I remember when my Kumare fix my brows, she uses MAC browset in beigule , in2it powder, endless browpecil and she taught me one thing that I always kept on my mind “Perfect brows lead to a perfect makeup”

I know I'm not PRO. But, hey, practice makes perfect, right? :)

I think COLOR MY BROWS #1 Rich Brown is a close dupe for MAC browset in beigule.

Drugstore makeup : Clear Smooth All in One (Shine Free Cake Powder)

Hello! Obviously, this is my first post ever :p
and now I had a spare time to share my favorite DRUGSTORE MAKEUP for my everyday office / natural look.

Seriously, I have no idea on how to start this, it’s my first time to blog :p

So Let’s start with…

I've been a solid fan of Maybelline products when someone had just recommended it to me…

Maybelline Clear Smooth All in one powder is the very first maybelline product
 & my #1 current favorite. 

I got it since I started my addiction on make ups. The first time I bought it to test if it suits my oily & sensitive skin, It came in a small square pink travel size container w/ puff(refill) in sand beige shade. I look tan with it so I switch to Natural shade.

*NO BREAKOUT (definitely a plus! ♥)

What I don't like:

*EASILY BROKE WHEN ACCIDENTALLY DROP

*LOOKS CHALKY IF YOU DON’T USE THE RIGHT MAKEUP BRUSH

* PLAIN RECTANGULAR PACKAGING

*SMELL (I don’t know if it just me or what, but I don’t really like the smell.)

I've tried a lot of brands of pressed powder foundation for years that gives me a worst breakout I ever had, & since I can't afford a high-end makeup like Mac studio fix for my "everyday use", this product regained my loyalty ..  

NATURAL shades blends "naturally" as the name itself blends natural on me. 

(I don't use heavy foundation with this) 

using it w/ other Maybelline's rave “BABY SKIN & B.B STICK FOUNDATION (radiance)” It last the whole office hour! great thing is I only re-touch during my break time (lunch) on t-zone area only. It’s the ultimate reason why I rate this product 4/5 . Aside from budget friendly, it works really great on my oily & sensitive skin.
